BIOGRAPHIE
Inga Fiolia, born in 1983 in Tbilisi (Georgia) in a family of musicians.
She gave her debut at the age of 7 with Georgian State Chamber Orchestra at the Tbilisi State Conservatory. This was followed over the next three years in the Philharmonic Hall with the Georgian National Symphony. Since then Inga Fiolia performed with Bergishe Symphony, Philharmonie -Suedwestfallen Orchestra, Student Orchestra of Aachen, Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, Jaroslawl’s National Symphony Orchestra Russia.
2011 Inga Fiolia gave her debut recitals in Switzerland, Marocco and France (Cortot Hall, Paris) after numerous performances in Germany ( "Chamber Music Summer Festival of Villa Musica Meinz", "1st Cologne Festival for Contemporary Music","Rösrath Piano Festival" ) , Panama-City, Japan, Austria (Mirabell Schloss, Salzburg), Belgium (Grand Hall of Brussels Conservatory), Russia (Moscow State Conservatory, Glinka Museum of Musical Culture of Moscow; Jaroslavl´s national Philharmonic Hall) and Georgia (Tbilisi national Conservatory; Georgian national Philharmonic Hall).
Her performances were broadcast on German Radio Channel "Deautschlandradio" and Georgia TV.
She is since 2010 a Chamber Music Artist of the “Yehudi Menuhin Association “Live Music Now”, where she also realize concerts with her own moderations.
Inga Fiolia´s repertoire includes baroque up to 21st century music and seldom played Prokofieff´s sonata No.9. She gave “premiere” performance of some contemporary music pieces by German, French and Belgian composers of the 21st century.
Along with her work as a soloist, Inga Fiolia is also chamber musician and song pianist. She is the partner of tenor Christian Lanza, has worked together with brasilian Pianist of WDR Orchestra -Paulo Alvares (Contemporary Music Improvisation for 2 pianos) and members of Minguet Quartet during the “International Chamber Music-Week” Böhlen.
As a song pianist she recorded a sound to a german film “Nähe auf Distanz. Letter exchange of Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn”, produced 2009 by “Beethovenfest Bonn” and broadcast on German WDR TV & Radio in 2010.
Born in Georgia into a musical family, Inga began at the age of six her studies at the "Specialized Music School of Tbilissi State Conservatory” in Georgia and continued later at the "Central Music School of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory” , which she graduated after five years of studies by Jury Levin and Prof. Alexey Nasedkin in 2000. She received her Bachelor and “Konzertexamen” Degrees in Solo Piano and Pedagogy 2011 at “Hochschule für Musik Cologne”, Germany by famous russian pianist, Prof. Vassily Lobanov. There, in Europa´s greatest Music Concervatory, she also worked two years as accompanist (2009-11). Currently Inga Fiolia is a student in "Ecole Normal de Musique" in Paris.
She has also studied at the “Summer Academy Mozarteum” in Salzburg, the "Summer Music" in Vienna, has been invited to “ Piano Academy Hamamatsu”, Japan and to” International Chamber Music-Week Böhlen”, Germany and has participated in master classes of world´s famous musicians such as Peter Feuchtwanger , Pierre -Laurent Aimard, Rudolf Kehrer (Vienna), Malcolm Bilson (USA), O. Yablonskaya (USA), Sequeira Costa (Portugal), Eduard Brunner (Chamber Music).
Inga Fiolia has received grants and scholarships from “Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben” and “The Solti Foundation”.
